I am sorry that your fan-game gets cancelled, i know that the game coding is too Hard, Since I don't have a PC, I create my games in Scratch and convert them to ZIP.
It's too hard making an game, because of the Coding, Hours and Hours of Work, and More.

You should try Clickteam, it's what I use. Requires no coding knowledge...
